Leads the Counterterrorism group within LLNL’s International Assessments Program, overseeing intelligence analysis of foreign nuclear weapons programs, nuclear proliferation, and radiological or nuclear terrorism threats. Responsibilities include technical leadership, strategic planning, project and budget management, staffing, mentoring, performance management, sponsor engagement, and production of intelligence reports and briefings meeting Intelligence Community standards.

Undergraduate interns support Defense Technologies Engineering Division projects involving research, conceptual design, innovative technologies, diagnostics, manufacturing principles, and product development. Responsibilities include assisting engineers and scientific staff, conducting supervised research, gathering and analyzing technical data, using discipline-standard software, documenting results, and communicating findings. The role is full-time onsite for 10–12 weeks during summer 2027.
