Manages LLNL’s enterprise risk and insurance programs, including workers’ compensation, liability claims, loss control, insurance renewals, safety initiatives, compliance, training, and crisis response. Provides strategic guidance to executives and stakeholders, oversees broker and carrier negotiations, analyzes risk trends, manages claims, supports return-to-work programs, and leads laboratory-wide projects and regulatory reporting.

Leads the Lethality and Signatures group within LLNL’s International Assessment Program. Oversees intelligence analysis of foreign nuclear weapons programs, project portfolios, budgets, staffing, technical quality, sponsor relationships, and classified deliverables. Develops strategic goals, research agendas, proposals, and innovative analytic capabilities while advising senior leadership and government sponsors. Requires extensive multidisciplinary leadership, nuclear weapons expertise, classified-environment experience, and an active DOE Q or Top Secret clearance with SCI access eligibility.

Leads the Counterterrorism group within LLNL’s International Assessments Program, overseeing intelligence analysis of foreign nuclear weapons programs, nuclear proliferation, and radiological or nuclear terrorism threats. Responsibilities include technical leadership, strategic planning, project and budget management, staffing, mentoring, performance management, sponsor engagement, and production of intelligence reports and briefings meeting Intelligence Community standards.
