Designs and analyzes electrical systems across FEED, conceptual, preliminary, detailed, and issued-for-construction phases. Develops drawings, calculations, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation; reviews supplier deliverables; supports testing, commissioning, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. Leads projects, proposals, process improvements, and stakeholder coordination while mentoring junior staff. The role focuses on regulated nuclear and heavy-industrial projects, including power distribution, protection, coordination, load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash, and related electrical studies.

Provides strategic human resources consultation and support to business leaders, covering employee and labour relations, performance management, collective agreement interpretation, talent management, leave and accommodation, change management, workforce planning, compensation, learning and development, and broader People & Culture initiatives. The role supports unionized employee groups and helps align people strategies with business objectives.

Supports supervisors and senior staff in coordinating multidisciplinary energy projects across planning, engineering, procurement, construction, cost, schedule, risk, change control, reporting, contracting, and stakeholder communications. Assists with business cases, project governance, phase-gating, variance analysis, issue resolution, turnover documentation, and compliance. Visits project sites, manufacturers, and suppliers as needed, including locations in Canada and internationally.

Manage FP&A processes, including monthly close, rolling forecasts, management reporting, annual budgeting, strategic planning, financial modeling, and business partnering. Provide decision support, analyze performance metrics, recommend cost management initiatives, improve reporting accuracy, maintain dashboards and scorecards, and drive finance process automation and governance.

Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the President and senior leadership: manage correspondence, schedules, meetings, travel, mail, records, expense reports, onboarding/offboarding, office supplies, and liaise with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth executive operations.

Manage development and review of operations and commissioning procedures for Cernavoda Unit 1 refurbishment. Coordinate stakeholders, ensure regulatory and licensing compliance, track schedule and deliverables, produce reports, and support safe return-to-service activities.

Lead and manage a mechanical design engineering section for nuclear and non-nuclear projects. Provide technical direction, review/approve designs and specifications, supervise staff, develop engineering programs, liaise with stakeholders, ensure compliance with nuclear standards and engineering processes, mentor junior engineers, and support business development and project delivery.

Lead and govern all engineering activities for the CANDU Unit 1 refurbishment as Design Authority. Ensure compliance with CNCAN, NSN-23, IAEA and nuclear quality standards; approve design documentation; oversee procurement specifications; manage engineering schedule, quality, and budget; mentor multidisciplinary teams; implement technically optimal solutions and manage change control and regulatory compliance.
