Creates two- and three-dimensional building, structural, architectural, and shop drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor. Coordinates multiple construction and manufacturing disciplines, reviews models for clashes, and resolves design discrepancies with engineers and project managers. Produces permit-ready and fabrication drawings, incorporates field changes into as-built documents, and verifies production methods on the fabrication floor. Supports project teams by answering questions and coordinating project-related tasks.

Supports construction estimating for engineered modular buildings through material takeoffs, cost development, vendor quote coordination, estimate documentation, bid reviews, and proposal support. The intern will use ProEst, interpret drawings and specifications, maintain estimate records, and complete a capstone project focused on takeoff-software standardization and steel-structure estimating. The role collaborates with sales, engineering, project management, production, vendors, and subcontractors.

Supports drafting and modeling for modular construction and manufacturing projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor. Assists with multidisciplinary drawing coordination, clash detection, shop and permit-ready drawings, as-built documentation, and fabrication floor walkthroughs. Collaborates with project management, engineering, sales, estimating, manufacturing, and fabrication teams while developing knowledge of construction and engineering practices.

Supports market development and sales teams through market and customer research, lead generation, prospect-list preparation, CRM data management, outbound outreach, appointment coordination, and follow-up communications. The intern analyzes sales funnel and market reports, assists with cross-marketing initiatives, distributes marketing materials, and participates in sales meetings and business development projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to B2B sales, customer relationship management, market analysis, and industrial markets.

Supports recruiting through job postings, interview scheduling, resume screening, and candidate sourcing. Maintains applicant and employee data in the HRIS, prepares reports, and assists with HR administration, projects, and process improvements. The internship provides exposure to multiple human capital functions, professional development, networking, and collaboration with HR staff.

Supports manufacturing operations through time studies, downtime tracking, root cause analysis, work instruction and SOP updates, performance metric reporting, and lean manufacturing initiatives. Works with production managers and floor supervisors on continuous improvement projects in a production-floor environment.

Supports the Project Management Team with project documentation, meeting minutes, scheduling, document control, close-out activities, billing milestone tracking, cost-data accuracy, proposal and contract reviews, quality and compliance support, plan submissions, and third-party inspections. The intern coordinates with sales, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders while gaining experience in project management and construction-related processes.
