Lead Lambda’s optical networking organization, owning backbone and customer interconnectivity planning, delivery, operations, and capacity automation. Hire and develop engineering teams, establish multi-year technical strategy, convert manual processes into software, and maintain high operational and engineering standards. Partner with interconnect, infrastructure, supply chain, data center operations, product, finance, technical leadership, customers, and partners to forecast demand, manage dependencies, and deliver scalable, reliable cloud connectivity.

Coordinate high-volume candidate interviews, debriefs, scheduling, correspondence, and onsite interview logistics, primarily for Engineering hiring. Partner with recruiters and hiring teams, maintain a high-quality candidate experience, ensure ATS data accuracy in Ashby, and identify recruiting process improvements. This role requires onsite presence in San Francisco four days per week.

Own complex public cloud programs from planning through rollout, coordinating engineering, infrastructure, product, security, SRE, and support teams. Translate strategy into execution plans, manage dependencies and risks, establish delivery cadences, oversee launch readiness, and measure post-launch success. The role requires strong understanding of cloud services, infrastructure architecture, distributed systems, GPU platforms, and Kubernetes, plus the ability to influence multiple teams without direct authority.

Partners with Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Accounting, Treasury, and FP&A to forecast infrastructure capital spending, supplier commitments, depreciation, cash flow, inventory exposure, and working capital. Analyzes supplier economics, purchase commitments, delivery timing, and deployment readiness while improving procurement and financial data workflows. Builds repeatable models and reporting for planning, sourcing decisions, investment reviews, and executive discussions.

Leads Lambda’s contracts, commercial risk, supply chain compliance, and procurement standards for large construction and equipment programs. Negotiates master agreements, manages claims and disputes, tracks obligations, oversees supplier onboarding and trade compliance, maintains audit readiness, builds reporting standards, trains site teams, and partners with Legal and executives on commercial decisions.

Design, build, and operate automation for Lambda’s network lifecycle, including device provisioning, configuration deployment, capacity planning, source-of-truth integration, APIs, CLIs, observability, and reliable self-service tooling. Partner with network and data center teams, participate in on-call support, lead technical projects, and mentor engineers.

Own the finance evaluation of major sites, customer deals, hardware purchases, capital commitments, unit economics, and cloud pricing. Partner with operations, supply chain, capital markets, sales, engineers, and leadership to assess returns, risks, assumptions, and trade-offs. Build scalable evaluation frameworks, templates, systems, and review processes; present recommendations at investment and deal reviews; and support strategic finance initiatives across the business.

Leads a team responsible for designing, operating, and scaling Lambda’s core cloud platform, including Managed Kubernetes, distributed services, automation, observability, APIs, and multi-region infrastructure. Owns technical direction, roadmap, execution, reliability, incident response, hiring, team development, and cross-functional alignment. The role focuses on resilient, highly available platform services supporting demanding AI and GPU workloads.

Supports daily San Jose office operations as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, customers, and vendors. Responsibilities include visitor reception, conference room and kitchen upkeep, supply ordering, mail and shipping, vendor management, workplace safety, facility issue resolution, lunch service administration, office events, emergency action plan updates, and administrative support. The role is fully onsite five days per week with occasional travel to San Francisco.

Serve as the primary employment law advisor to People teams and business leaders across the U.S. and internationally. Advise on hiring, compensation, employee relations, investigations, compliance, agreements, international expansion, and workforce changes. Manage employment disputes and outside counsel, support M&A and public-company readiness, and build scalable policies, templates, training, and processes. Partner with EOR and PEO providers and advise on global employment structures.

Own the end-to-end architecture, implementation, operation, and governance of Lambda’s Workday integration landscape. Lead the Rippling migration, build inbound and outbound HR, payroll, benefits, finance, identity, and analytics integrations, and ensure reliable data flow, monitoring, reconciliation, security, and SOX controls. Partner across People, Finance, Payroll, IT, Security, and Engineering; oversee implementation readiness, releases, documentation, audits, and technical mentorship.

Supports Lambda’s Investor Relations team through investor communications, earnings preparation, market and competitor research, executive briefing materials, investor activity reporting, database maintenance, and investor event coordination. The role requires financial analysis, presentation development, strong organization, discretion, and collaboration with senior leaders and external stakeholders. It also offers growth into investor engagement, public-company readiness, IPO support, and broader capital-markets responsibilities.

Own Lambda’s customer-facing cloud console as a unified product across compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, billing, and support. Define shared navigation, identity, permissions, resource patterns, and standards; align console behavior with APIs and CLI tools; improve onboarding and expert workflows; and partner with product, engineering, and design teams. Use customer research, instrumentation, and operational metrics to prioritize work, establish launch criteria, make cross-functional decisions, and continuously measure and improve the experience.

Lead or Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer responsible for building Lambda’s cloud console across React and TypeScript frontend, APIs, and backend services. The role owns complex customer-facing initiatives, translates cloud infrastructure into intuitive workflows, establishes scalable architecture, improves reliability and observability, partners with Product and Design, mentors engineers, and guides technical strategy across console experiences.

Designs physical and optical connectivity for data centers, backbone routes, points of presence, and customer interconnects. Translates capacity, latency, resilience, and customer requirements into infrastructure designs, evaluates carrier and supplier options, validates route diversity, and develops technical scopes. Guides designs through engineering approval and delivery, resolves deployment issues, and establishes reusable network standards. Requires hands-on experience with carrier, cloud, or data center connectivity and technologies such as dark fiber, wavelength services, optical transport, and internet interconnection.

Supports cloud network service delivery by submitting cross-connect orders, tracking carrier and data center installations, assisting with circuit turn-up and testing, maintaining network records, and coordinating service changes. The role also supports documentation, ticket routing, discrepancy resolution, and workflow automation while developing expertise in fiber, optics, carrier provisioning, and physical network infrastructure.

Design and build scalable Kubernetes control-plane services, operators, controllers, and cluster lifecycle automation for AI workloads. Develop GPU-aware orchestration, inference platform services, internal deployment tools, and resilient distributed systems. Collaborate on networking, storage, compute, and NVIDIA infrastructure integrations while supporting production systems through on-call rotations.

Own the strategy, roadmap, pricing, packaging, launch, and ongoing performance of Lambda’s compute products across GPU and CPU infrastructure. Partner with customers, engineering, operations, sales, and support to define compute primitives, capacity products, provisioning interfaces, placement, isolation, failure handling, and automation surfaces. Prioritize investments, write precise requirements, make infrastructure tradeoffs, measure adoption and utilization, and evolve the product for AI workloads.
