The Paralegal supports attorneys with legal research, drafting and filing pleadings, advocacy materials, and correspondence. Responsibilities include legislative and regulatory monitoring, case discovery, file and database management, court-rule compliance, client communication, coalition coordination, meeting support, presentations, and general legal administration. The role supports impact litigation, policy advocacy, education, and coalition-building on LGBTQ+ and HIV civil rights issues.

Leads human resources operations, labor and employee relations, union contract administration, employment compliance, benefits, payroll oversight, workplace investigations, workforce planning, and HR systems improvement. Advises organizational leaders on employment matters, supervises the Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist, partners with legal counsel and leadership, and advances equitable, compliant, and effective People & Culture practices across a geographically distributed workforce.

Manages a portfolio of major-gift donors and prospects, developing cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and planned-giving strategies. The role solicits five- and six-figure gifts, builds donor and volunteer relationships, leads fundraising committees and events, tracks portfolio and event data, and meets revenue and engagement goals. It also supports leadership solicitations, sponsorship development, donor recognition, reporting, and coordination with organizational staff across assigned markets.

The Regional Director leads fundraising efforts in the Midwest, manages major donor portfolios, mentors team members, and oversees regional office operations while collaborating on events and strategies to grow donations.
