The Charge Nurse leads nurse aides, administers medications and treatments, implements care plans, transcribes physician orders, documents resident care, and completes nursing assessments. The role supports shift communication, educates staff, maintains infection-control and safety standards, responds to emergencies, and coordinates replacement staffing when needed. Candidates must be licensed RNs or LVNs with strong assessment, documentation, communication, organization, and workflow-management skills.

Prepares, portions, assembles, and serves meals; delivers trays and meal carts; manages food and floor supplies using FIFO standards; cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas; disposes of refuse according to policy; and supports resident satisfaction and safe food service.
