Leads and improves manufacturing processes across precision metal fabrication operations, including laser cutting, stamping, forming, machining, welding, painting, and assembly. Develops routings, work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, tooling, and process documentation; supports NPI, audits, compliance, root-cause analysis, CAPA, automation, and Lean initiatives. Troubleshoots production issues and collaborates with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain while coaching other team members.

Manages customer sales orders from processing through shipment, serving as the primary customer contact for order status, schedule changes, inquiries, complaints, RMAs, and delivery updates. Coordinates with order entry, production, scheduling, account management, and inventory teams. Uses ERP and CRM systems to monitor fulfillment, maintain records, manage VMI and consigned inventory, resolve issues, track performance, and support process improvements.

Develops and programs CMM and visual inspection systems for metals fabrication. Interprets GD&T and technical drawings, creates inspection methods and fixtures, analyzes manufacturing data, and prepares customer quality documentation including PPAPs, ISIRs, FAIRs, quality plans, capability studies, and MSAs. Supports engineering and production, improves metrology processes, and manages project plans, schedules, and budgets. The role requires medical industry and ISO 13485 experience and is fully onsite with local travel.

Assembles mechanical components and customer products using blueprints, schematics, parts lists, and technical documentation. Measures and inspects completed assemblies, resolves dimensional issues, maintains supplies inventory, and prepares finished products for shipment. The role requires repetitive physical work, material handling, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Owns and continuously improves the organization’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements. Leads internal and external audits, CAPA programs, gap assessments, document control, management reviews, risk management, certification readiness, quality training, records management, and performance measurement. The role also manages quality professionals and partners cross-functionally to close compliance gaps, improve processes, mitigate risk, and strengthen the organization’s culture of quality.

Develop and maintain production schedules across four manufacturing facilities, balancing customer demand, capacity, materials, inventory, and delivery requirements. Partner with sales, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to resolve constraints and manage schedule changes. Serve as the ERP subject matter expert, maintain planning standards and master data, monitor capacity and production performance, and report KPIs. Adjust schedules for shortages, equipment failures, alternate routings, demand fluctuations, quality issues, and other operational variables.
