Leads day-to-day operations of a multispecialty pediatric outpatient clinic serving medically complex and developmentally disabled patients. Oversees nurses, medical assistants, patient assignments, scheduling, quality assurance, chart reviews, compliance, incident reporting, and workflow improvements. Provides direct care in complex situations, coaches and evaluates staff, coordinates with providers and hospital leadership, and promotes safe, family-centered care and staff development.

Leads daily operations across Central Supply, Receiving, and Purchasing for a pediatric hospital. Coordinates inventory, replenishment, receiving, purchase orders, vendors, staff workflow, and clinical supply requests. Monitors PAR levels, cycle counts, expirations, backorders, order performance, and inventory accuracy. Supports Value Analysis Committee activities, GHX analytics, regulatory compliance, staff training, continuous improvement, and weekend supply operations.

Provides trauma-informed psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, case management, and crisis response for pediatric inpatients, outpatients, and families. Collaborates with multidisciplinary medical teams, supports children with chronic illness and developmental or behavioral conditions, supervises trainees, delivers education and training, maintains clinical records, and contributes to behavioral health program development.

Leads the hospital’s financial strategy, planning, budgeting, reimbursement, revenue cycle, treasury, accounting oversight, analytics, grants, and long-term sustainability. Advises the CEO, executive team, and Board; oversees financial reporting, payer strategy, capital planning, cash management, compliance, and service-line profitability. Develops the finance leadership team and supports strategic initiatives, partnerships, and operational performance improvement.

Leads continuous quality improvement for DCFS coaching programs by developing CQI processes, monitoring implementation fidelity, analyzing program data, and recommending enhancements. Oversees data collection, validation, dashboards, reports, and visualizations while ensuring evaluation accuracy and integrity. Collaborates with internal teams, leadership, external partners, and participants, and supports staff understanding of CQI principles and data interpretation. Requires expertise in program evaluation, quality improvement, data-driven management, and computerized database setup.

Leads hiring, onboarding, training, retention, quality improvement, and clinical and administrative supervision for Skill Advancement Coaching staff. Develops training curricula, analyzes program data, ensures compliance with DCFS policies and evidence-informed frameworks, coordinates with hospital and child welfare stakeholders, supports trauma-informed practice, and provides coverage for program leadership and coaching teams.

Conducts integrated clinical assessments and interviews for children in foster care and their caregivers. Determines needed treatment, community, and social supports; administers age-appropriate assessment tools; makes referrals; and prepares comprehensive reports integrating clinical, medical, court, and child-welfare information. Maintains communication with families and permanency staff, participates in supervision, case consultation, quality assurance, research, and training activities.

Provides comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for children from birth through young adulthood, including acute care, preventive health, chronic disease management, developmental assessment, treatment planning, patient education, and clinical outcome monitoring. Collaborates with nurse case managers, social workers, dietitians, nurses, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care for medically complex patients and their families. Serves as a pediatric clinical resource, informal leader, and community educator.

Lead and manage billing and coding teams, oversee revenue cycle operations and KPIs, ensure Illinois Medicaid and pediatric billing compliance, manage transition from Meditech/Athena to Epic (Resolute), handle denial management, reporting, audits, and liaise between clinical and finance teams.

Provides medical nutrition therapy to pediatric inpatient and outpatient patients with chronic diseases, including premature infants, cerebral palsy, and diabetes. Conducts nutrition assessments, monitors growth and laboratory data, manages enteral and parenteral nutrition, supports TPN therapy, counsels families, participates in multidisciplinary care, educates clinical staff, and assists with specialized diets, formulas, and feeding challenges.

Perform general and portable radiography and EKGs, process and transmit images, ensure patient positioning and safety, maintain department records and equipment, respond to on-call/STAT x-rays, and maintain required certifications and licenses.
