Teams at La Rabida Children's Hospital

Provide respiratory-focused staff education and competency validation, deliver training on ventilators and equipment, support outpatient clinic workflows, perform spirometry and asthma education, evaluate and manage pediatric respiratory patients (including tracheostomy and ventilator care), participate in quality improvement, and maintain required certifications while performing Respiratory Therapist duties across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Provide medical nutrition therapy for inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients with complex chronic conditions. Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition including TPN, perform nutrition assessments, counseling, growth monitoring, participate in team rounds and clinics (including telehealth), educate families and staff, coordinate with food service and external specialty teams, and support discharge planning and follow-up.

Lead and manage billing and coding teams, oversee revenue cycle operations and KPIs, ensure Illinois Medicaid and pediatric billing compliance, manage transition from Meditech/Athena to Epic (Resolute), handle denial management, reporting, audits, and liaise between clinical and finance teams.
