Leads wiring design and build programs for military aircraft avionics systems. Provides technical oversight, mentoring, requirements definition, harness design and installation leadership, lifecycle support, process improvement, workload forecasting, proposal support, and compliance with military standards and financial requirements. Partners with hardware engineering, operations, production, and defense customers to deliver high-quality wire harnesses on schedule and within budget.

Develops product architectures, systems requirements, test procedures, and hardware/software integrations. Performs verification, validation, troubleshooting, effectiveness analysis, and system testing using hardware interfaces and operating systems. Coordinates with architects, suppliers, customers, and engineering teams, oversees customer deliverables, supports lab and field exercises, and leads smaller integration efforts for defense products.

Perform structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS/ICEPAK, validate mechanical designs, and support design/build of rugged electromechanical components. Produce CAD drawings (GD&T/DFM), collaborate with systems/electrical teams and government engineers, and ensure compliance with military environmental and EMI/EMC requirements.

Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001/AS9100), oversee inspections, audits, CAPA, supplier quality, calibration, MRB, customer quality communications, and supervise quality personnel to ensure product and process conformity.

Build and assemble customer kits by picking parts from BOMs/packing lists, maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits, enter received inventory into tracking systems, support shipping/receiving, troubleshoot discrepancies, stage and move kits, and operate warehouse equipment safely. Success is measured by kit accuracy, inventory integrity, and assembly speed.

Develop and evaluate tactical networking requirements and algorithms, perform modeling and simulation, design systems and test procedures, integrate and prototype tactical radios, support integration/verification, and participate in customer demonstrations and test events.

Support supplier, customer, and production quality across manufacturing and quality systems. Design and maintain quality control systems, conduct inspections, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, manage supplier performance, develop quality documentation, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO, MIL-STD, ITAR, and customer requirements.
