Owns subcontracting and supplier agreements for a defense manufacturer. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, implementing FAR/DFARS flowdowns, managing representations and certifications, allocating commercial and legal risk, supporting supplier disputes, and building contracting playbooks and processes. The role partners with Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Development, and Export Compliance while advising leadership on material risks.

Develop and execute electrical, mechanical, firmware, environmental, subsystem, and integrated system testing across the product lifecycle. Translate requirements into verification methods, build fixtures and instrumentation, automate data acquisition and analysis, troubleshoot failures, document results, and improve test repeatability. Collaborate across systems, mechanical, electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and program teams while helping establish scalable verification processes and transition engineering methods into production acceptance testing.

Develop and manage system requirements, architectures, interfaces, verification strategies, technical baselines, and engineering documentation for advanced defense products. Records receipts in NetSuite WMS/ERP, reconciles inventory, maintains audit records, segregates nonconforming materials, and reports discrepancies. Operates material-handling equipment, coordinates with carriers and suppliers, and may drive between local facilities. Requires forklift certification, physical ability to lift up to 51 pounds, and strong attention to detail.

The Safety Manager will lead safety and compliance initiatives across multiple locations, develop safety programs, manage hazard assessments, and drive operational safety compliance.

Lead and maintain the U.S. export compliance program: classify products under ITAR/EAR, manage licenses and TAAs/MLAs, perform end-user and sanctions screening, oversee deemed export controls and TCPs, deliver training, maintain audit-ready records, and provide cross-functional compliance advisory support.

Owns the quote-to-invoice process by entering RFQs, quotes, and purchase orders; tracking open orders and due dates; coordinating with sales, production, finance, customers, and suppliers; expediting shipments; confirming delivery; handing orders off for invoicing; preparing aging and risk reports; and resolving missing information or delays. The role also supports the development of order-to-cash processes.

Design and release multilayer PCBs for digital, analog, mixed-signal, power, and safety-critical defense electronics. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on schematics, routing, board constraints, and packaging. Maintain footprints, symbols, libraries, and ECAD documentation; produce fabrication and assembly packages; support DFM, DFT, DFA, ECOs, configuration-controlled releases, and manufacturing vendor coordination. Help establish PCB layout standards and improve ECAD workflows.

Design, develop, and integrate embedded electrical systems and PCBs for defense products. Lead schematic and PCB layout, perform signal integrity, power and thermal design, testing, failure analysis, and field support. Mentor junior engineers, maintain documentation and revision control, ensure compliance with MIL-STDs and industry standards, and support prototyping and qualification.

Perform PCB layout for digital, analog, mixed-signal, power, and safety-critical electronics. Create and maintain footprints and libraries, produce fabrication/assembly outputs, support DFM/DFT/DFA, work with engineers and vendors, participate in design reviews, manage ECOs and configuration-controlled releases, and help establish ECAD standards and workflows.

Manage inspections, FAI/FAIR, NDT, MRB, CAPA, supplier quality, audits, calibration, certifications, and quality records.
