Own mechanical robot subsystems from architecture through production, including drivetrain, structures, actuation, linkages, and enclosures. Select and integrate components, perform load and tolerance analysis, prototype in-house, and design for manufacturing, assembly, serviceability, and reliability. Debug deployed robots, coordinate with manufacturers and vendors, mentor junior engineers, and drive rapid iteration on field-ready hardware.

Own the electrical architecture and production development of robotic subsystems, including power distribution, batteries, motor drives, PCBs, sensors, harnesses, and embedded integration. Design, build, test, and debug hardware on deployed robots, manage manufacturing vendors, resolve field failures, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires hands-on experience shipping hardware, strong power electronics and mixed-signal fundamentals, and comfort working onsite in a fast-paced environment.

Leads on-site robot operators, owning hiring, training, scheduling, safety, quality, performance metrics, and customer workflow integration. Manages multi-shift operations, coaches staff, addresses performance issues, documents operating playbooks, handles incidents, and routes field feedback to engineering. The role requires hands-on, in-person leadership across operational sites and continuous improvement of robot and operator performance.
