Follow up with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and compute benefits, work with HIM and Registration, and participate in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Provide outpatient psychiatric assessment and treatment to patients at Kirby Medical Center's rural health clinic in Monticello, IL. Deliver diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care, using available resources such as medical scribe services and UpToDate.

Provide primary care across all ages in collaboration with a supervising physician: health promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring chronic conditions, referrals, prescriptions, and office procedures under standing orders and protocols.

Provide direct patient care in a primary care clinic: vitals, medication reconciliation, patient education, assist with procedures, manage daily task list and EMR documentation under provider supervision.

Provide direct and indirect patient care on the medical-surgical and emergency units during night shifts. Perform physical assessments, wound care, respiratory interventions (vapotherm, ventilator, nebulizer), specimen collection, medication administration, documentation review, assist with activities of daily living, crash cart checks, and respond to codes in the ER.

Provide direct patient care in a clinic setting under physician supervision, including psychosocial and physical care, communication with patients/families, documentation, and coordination of diagnostic results. Maintain regulatory, nursing, and office policies and standards.

Provide patient-centered medical-surgical nursing care including assessments, medication reconciliation and administration, EMR documentation, clinical judgment, time management, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory and quality standards in a 16-bed critical access hospital.
