Responsibilities include workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, total rewards, employee and labor relations, HR systems modernization, compliance, people analytics, equity and belonging, succession planning, and organizational change. Reporting to the CEO, the CPO will advise executives and the Board, build scalable HR infrastructure, lead an approximately 18-person team, and strengthen educator recruitment, retention, and organizational culture.

Leads operational excellence across two Newark high schools, managing and developing Directors of Campus Operations. Owns attendance, enrollment, persistence, safety, facilities, academic operations, family experience, budgets, compliance, and operational standards. Establishes consistent systems, audits execution, coaches leaders, drives data-informed improvement, and partners with academic, regional, and network teams to improve student outcomes and protect instructional time.
