Leads project engineering teams by coaching employees, managing staffing and utilization, overseeing project quality, schedules, costs, budgets, forecasts, and risks. Participates in technical sales reviews, project turnovers, process improvement, customer engagement, recruiting, and onboarding. Requires engineering leadership experience, material handling or logistics automation expertise, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and approximately 10% travel.

Define, deploy, and scale AI-driven capabilities for Dematic’s Command Center platform. Identify industrial AI use cases, develop business cases and requirements, guide engineering, validate solutions with customers, lead pilots and deployments, establish responsible AI practices, and support commercialization. The role partners across product, AI, engineering, implementation, sales, and operations teams to deliver measurable improvements in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and automation outcomes.

Oversee complex material-handling projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, staffing, profitability, invoicing, and project teams. Develop detailed engineering, installation, and integration schedules; coordinate internal and external stakeholders; support pre-sales solution development; validate customer business cases; and prepare proposals, estimates, and high-level schedules. Apply project management and systems engineering principles while leading teams and facilitating execution.
