Performs laboratory testing and analysis of refinery materials and products using ASTM and related methods. Operates, maintains, calibrates, and verifies laboratory instruments; manages results in LIMS; maintains testing records; supports quality control requirements; handles samples and hazardous materials safely; manages supplies; and communicates results to refinery operations, engineering, and laboratory teams. Works rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.

Oversee the refinery’s Process Safety Management and Risk Management Programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead hazard assessments, audits, incident investigations, emergency response planning, training, documentation, corrective actions, and process safety improvement initiatives. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams while engaging with regulators. Manage the Process Safety department, including Process Safety Advisors and Coordinators.

Operate and monitor pumps, valves, and related equipment in a refinery; perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and recordkeeping; coordinate truck loading/unloading; follow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Operate weighing equipment and software to record inbound/outbound vehicle weights, collect product samples, document shift activity, verify safety/compliance, interact with drivers, and coordinate with operations to ensure safe, spill-free product transfer.

Support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle: recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation and benefits administration, leave management, compliance, and policy administration. Partner with employees and leaders to advise on HR policies, support talent management, and promote a positive, compliant workplace.

Manage daily administrative and facility operations, serve as primary front-office contact, handle communications, vendor management, supplies, scheduling, meeting and travel coordination, maintain common areas and office systems, and provide administrative support to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Lead enterprise IT strategy and cybersecurity for refinery operations. Drive digital transformation (ERP, cloud, data analytics), integrate IT/OT/industrial IoT, enforce NIST and ISA/IEC 62443 security standards, oversee IT operations, BCP/DR, vendor management, and performance metrics while mentoring IT leaders and ensuring alignment with business objectives and resilience goals.

Process vendor invoices, enter and reconcile transactions, support accounts payable/receivable, assist month- and year-end close, maintain records and internal controls, support audits, collaborate across teams, and handle ad-hoc accounting tasks.
