Designs and develops mechanical products and tooling from concept through production. Creates CAD models, prototypes, and performs FEA to validate structural performance. Collaborates with manufacturing, machining, quality, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturability, cost, and product performance. Documents designs and supports the transition from prototype to full-scale production.

Manage metal fabrication supplier relationships, negotiate long-term agreements, optimize steel, aluminum, and copper costs, assess supplier risks, and track quality, delivery, cost, and lead-time KPIs. Collaborate with engineering on blueprints, CAD files, GD&T, and manufacturing capabilities while sourcing sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and finishing services.

Supports daily accounting operations with an emphasis on accounts payable and backup accounts receivable responsibilities. Processes invoices, payments, credit memos, and customer receipts; reconciles vendor statements; maintains accurate vendor and customer records; resolves billing discrepancies; responds to vendor and customer inquiries; and assists with month-end activities. Requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, Excel proficiency, and ERP or accounting software experience.

Leads projects from final design through high-volume manufacturing, delivery, and field support. Coordinates Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and customers; improves production workflows, manages design-for-manufacturability feedback, integrates revisions, resolves technical issues, identifies supply chain risks, and maintains project documentation. The role also establishes service processes and provides data-driven status updates while ensuring quality, customer requirements, and delivery timelines are met.
