Lead execution of debt, equity and M&A mandates across Kenya and East Africa. Own financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction documentation (IMs, teasers, prospectuses, pitchbooks, term sheets). Drive new business onboarding, stakeholder and relationship management, team leadership of analysts/associates, and ensure regulatory compliance, SLAs and audit items are met. Mentor direct reports and maintain industry awareness to mitigate risk and maximize outcomes.

Drive revenue growth by acquiring, onboarding, and optimizing hospitality merchants across payment gateways and acquiring platforms. Manage deposits, deliver merchant service and training, build partnerships with hotels/restaurants/tourism, oversee risk and compliance, lead team capability development, and execute strategic initiatives and marketing campaigns.

Analyze and report technology and business performance, track KPIs, produce management performance packs, identify risks and opportunities, drive technology adoption, benchmark industry trends, and collaborate across departments to inform decisions and business cases.

Lead execution and placement of debt capital markets, syndicated loans, and structured products across Kenya and East Africa. Originate mandates, develop debt financing products, manage investor and stakeholder relationships, ensure compliant documentation, drive new business and customer retention, and build a high-performing advisory team with strong financial modelling capability.

Lead regulatory legal affairs: represent the group in public policy and stakeholder engagement, analyze legislation, prepare position statements, manage regulatory compliance across multiple regulators, secure product and outsourcing approvals, respond to regulator-mediated customer complaints, and drive a group-wide regulatory approach.

Manage and grow corporate trustee client relationships, achieve financial targets, conduct compliance reviews under the RBA Act, resolve compliance issues, mitigate trustee risks, implement trustee strategy, and act as primary client contact.

Grow market share and achieve financial and business growth targets for corporate trustee services. Conduct compliance reviews per the CMA Act, resolve identified compliance matters, mitigate service risks, implement trustee strategy aligned with KCB policies, serve as primary client contact, attend client and annual general meetings, and convene quarterly trustee meetings.
