The attorney must be licensed in Kansas or Missouri, have at least three years of litigation experience, and live within driving distance of downtown Kansas City for occasional in-office work.

Leads ERP implementations, systems conversions, process improvements, and cross-company finance projects. Maps workflows, validates data, tests functionality, resolves operational issues, and supports training. Analyzes profitability, margins, WIP, inventory, cost variances, and operational performance while developing practical reporting tools. Partners with finance, accounting, operational teams, executives, and implementation vendors across construction, manufacturing, and industrial businesses. This role requires strong accounting expertise, project ownership, and approximately 10–15% travel.

Supports accounting and bookkeeping across multiple entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, banking, financial reporting, invoicing, and tax payments. Also coordinates property maintenance, tenants, vendors, contractors, technology support, office administration, and operational projects. The role requires independent judgment, strong organization, confidentiality, attention to detail, and flexibility in a small in-office business environment.

Process weekly payroll for two affiliated construction and steel fabrication businesses; administer benefits, 401(k) contributions, insurance enrollments, onboarding, and terminations. Maintain confidential employee records, corporate and contractor licenses, compliance filings, and payroll reports. Support audits, insurance renewals, employee communications, and general administrative and accounting tasks while working closely with the CFO.
