Supports the quality management framework through document control, SOP and quality-record maintenance, training and competency tracking, audit support, inspection readiness, incident administration, CAPA and deviation-related activities, workflow improvement, and routing validation and change-control documentation. The role provides administrative and operational QA support in a rapidly changing biotech and clinical laboratory environment while ensuring compliance with CLIA and applicable QMS standards.

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend software and microservices. Collaborate with engineering, product, analytics, laboratory, and clinical teams; create technical documentation; monitor reliability and performance; support production deployments; troubleshoot complex issues; conduct root-cause analysis; participate in design and code reviews; and guide technical decisions and engineering process improvements.

Develop and optimize digital marketing campaigns for Karius’s metagenomic testing portfolio across provider and patient audiences. The role drives lead generation, customer acquisition, pipeline influence, and attributable revenue; develops healthcare and scientific content; builds KPI and measurement frameworks; analyzes customer behavior and market trends; and presents performance recommendations to senior stakeholders. Collaboration with internal teams, agencies, commercial operations, sales enablement, and branding partners is central.

Leads market research, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and commercial opportunity assessments supporting product launches and market expansion. Partners cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Customer Success, UX, and Engineering to gather customer insights, define launch KPIs, develop go-to-market strategies, create sales enablement materials, and communicate actionable recommendations to leadership. Oversees research projects, vendors, budgets, data analysis, competitive monitoring, and pre- and post-launch performance evaluation.

Provides phone, email, and ticket-based support to physicians, laboratory personnel, hospital administrators, and sales teams. Coordinates sample status updates, gathers required information, escalates test-result issues to Medical Affairs, and works with production laboratory staff on processing and reporting concerns. The role requires healthcare customer service experience, professional communication, PHI handling, and familiarity with Zendesk and Salesforce. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time, with no travel required.

Supports clinical, observational, translational, and research studies through statistical design, analysis, modeling, and interpretation. Develops statistical analysis plans, performs sample size and power calculations, evaluates diagnostic performance, and analyzes complex clinical and genomic datasets. Produces reproducible programs, documentation, publications, and regulatory materials while collaborating with clinical, scientific, data science, and regulatory stakeholders.

Execute moderate-to-complex molecular biology and NGS experiments (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, library prep), analyze results, maintain QMS-compliant records, support lab operations, troubleshoot workflows, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet project timelines.
