Manage and support mentors and 400+ mentees in a large, remote AI-safety research fellowship. Serve as the main point of contact, run cohort programming and events, co-own Demo Day, troubleshoot mentor/mentee issues, conduct 1:1s, and contribute to recruiting, matching, timelines, and feedback systems to keep the program running smoothly.

Scale internal recruiting from 7 to ~20 staff, lead ecosystem headhunting and early-career placements, manage Talent Commons onboarding and data quality, and shape product and strategy. Grow the function into a small team and track placement outcomes across the AI safety ecosystem.

Lead end-to-end hiring to support rapid growth, build scalable recruiting infrastructure, and then expand into broader generalist and talent operations work—matching alumni to roles, building shared talent systems, shaping org design, and supporting programs across Kairos.
