Lead and grow SPAR, a large remote AI safety research fellowship. Lead and own all operations at Kairos including finance, compliance, HR, grant logistics, internal systems, and policies. Operate Kairos Labs incubator support, advise fiscally sponsored projects, build grant infrastructure, manage spending controls, and grow the ops team while ensuring regulatory compliance and scalable systems for a rapidly expanding nonprofit.

Lead end-to-end hiring to support rapid growth, build scalable recruiting infrastructure, and then expand into broader generalist and talent operations work—matching alumni to roles, building shared talent systems, shaping org design, and supporting programs across Kairos.

Build and run Kairos’s end-to-end hiring function, source and close candidates, and create durable hiring systems. Scale internal recruiting from 7 to ~20 staff, lead ecosystem headhunting and early-career placements, manage Talent Commons onboarding and data quality, and shape product and strategy. Grow the function into a small team and track placement outcomes across the AI safety ecosystem.

Own core back-end operations for a nonprofit: pay vendors, supervise accountants, support bookkeeping and audits, manage payroll/benefits/onboarding, process grants/payments, support fiscally sponsored groups, build automations and internal systems, handle participant support and program operations, and pitch in on ad-hoc operational needs.

Manage and support mentors and 400+ mentees in a large, remote AI-safety research fellowship. Serve as the main point of contact, run cohort programming and events, co-own Demo Day, troubleshoot mentor/mentee issues, conduct 1:1s, and contribute to recruiting, matching, timelines, and feedback systems to keep the program running smoothly.
