The Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including bank and balance-sheet reconciliations, journal entries, transaction recording, expense tracking, financial reporting, and month-end and year-end close activities. The role will assist with audits, tax and legal expense documentation, lease accounting, process documentation, and continuous improvement of accounting controls. Regular collaboration with headquarters and monthly in-person attendance in Madrid are required.

Conduct remote video impostor and identity checks for UK candidates, ask Modern Slavery questions, document assessments using Firstwork, meet productivity targets, flag compliance risks, and provide feedback to improve AI verification tools while working independently on weekends.

Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-enabled initiatives, analyze datasets to find automation and growth opportunities, build models and dashboards (SQL, Excel, Google Sheets), and present strategic recommendations to leadership to scale AI-driven processes across markets.
