Teams at Jefferson-Blount-St. Clair Mental Health Authority

Provide community-based supported employment and education services for youth/young adults (15-25) experiencing first-episode psychosis. Conduct vocational and educational assessments, job development, employer and school outreach, benefits education, family support, crisis management, documentation in EMR, and collaborate with the NOVA treatment team while spending most work time in community settings.

Provide direct, in-home or community-based therapeutic mentoring for children/adolescents with serious emotional disturbance: deliver scripted social-emotional skills training, assess needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, maintain accurate electronic client records, and complete required administrative and reporting duties.

Provide one-on-one and group peer support to individuals with mental health challenges, using lived-experience to teach recovery skills, link clients to community resources, facilitate peer groups, complete documentation, attend team meetings, and travel locally for services.
