Prepares, cooks, and serves food according to menus, standardized recipes, sanitation requirements, schedules, and physician-ordered diets. Ensures proper food temperatures and supports residents, including those with dementia. Requires dependable, professional service, the ability to work independently, and occasional supervision of dietary staff in the manager’s absence.

Engages residents with dementia in enjoyable, age-appropriate activities that provide stimulation, socialization, and meaningful enrichment. The role requires creativity, compassion, communication, organization, problem-solving, composure, basic computer skills, and a willingness to support elderly residents. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Assists with resident enrichment programs supporting physical, social, mental, spiritual, and intellectual well-being. Leads activity groups, documents attendance, addresses resident needs, and maintains activity supplies, equipment, storage areas, and pet care responsibilities. Requires a positive service attitude, teamwork, organization, communication skills, and availability for weekends and holidays.
