The primary purpose of the life enrichment aide position is to assist in the implementation of programs that promote resident physical, social, mental, spiritual, and intellectual well-being. As a program aide you will encourage residents to have a sense of continuing usefulness to themselves and retain an optimal level of functioning. Duties involve personal contact with resident population and a varied work schedule that will include being on duty some weekends and holidays. The ability to read and write is necessary in order to lead activity groups and document attendance. Tasks also include attention to the environment, including pet care, care of supplies/equipment and maintenance of storage areas. Must have a positive service-oriented attitude with an awareness and willingness to meet resident needs.
QualificationsEDUCATION
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.

The Center serves people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias from diagnosis through end of life, regardless of faith background.
