Commission and support battery energy storage systems globally, troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical, software, and controls issues, analyze operational data, optimize system performance, develop technical documentation and training, engage with customers, and support continuous improvement. The role requires approximately 30% travel, including occasional trips of up to four weeks, and collaboration with field engineers, customers, and internal engineering teams.

Supports manufacturing and mechanical/electrical assembly of vanadium flow battery systems across global projects. Converts engineering designs into documented build processes, manages production documentation and design changes, develops risk assessments, drives Lean continuous improvement, supports production readiness and capacity improvements, resolves manufacturing issues, defines tooling and fixtures, and ensures health, safety, quality, and PLM record compliance. Collaborates with Engineering, R&D, Procurement, Project Management, suppliers, and international manufacturing sites.

Lead energy storage projects from initiation through close, serving as the primary customer interface and coordinating internal and external stakeholders. Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, contracts, claims, change orders, reporting, governance, and project communications. Present updates to leadership and customers, support technical issue resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery processes and standards.

Lead delivery of utility-scale and commercial energy storage projects from contract award through commissioning. Act as primary customer contact, manage schedule, budget, scope, risks, contracts, stakeholder communication, technical coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget project completion.

Manage supplier quality and qualification for materials, components, and assemblies. Conduct supplier audits, FAI/PPAP, capability studies, and production readiness reviews. Monitor supplier performance, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, drive process improvements, cost reduction, and risk mitigation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support NPI, engineering changes, and regulatory compliance; travel to supplier sites as needed.

Support pre-sales and business development by translating technical battery capabilities into customer solutions. Design and configure energy storage systems, liaise with engineering and operations, produce technical marketing collateral, and represent the company at events. Requires collaboration across teams and occasional international travel.

Support electrical system design for utility-scale vanadium flow battery products by creating and maintaining schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and design records; assist prototype builds, verification testing, supplier coordination, and design updates to improve manufacturability and reliability.

Support R&D battery testing from test design and fabrication through execution: build, calibrate, run, document, and troubleshoot test equipment and stations for unit cell technologies, ensuring reliable, repeatable data to inform engineering decisions.

Coordinate and track engineering, manufacturing, supplier, and service changes across operations. Classify changes, analyze inventory/cost/impact, maintain Item/Cost Master and BOM exports, coordinate validation (FAI/PPAP), update manufacturing documentation, verify implementations, support production/service during cut‑in, and provide change-status reporting.
