Responsibilities include design controls, risk management, process validation, PFMEA, CAPA, nonconformance investigation, root-cause analysis, statistical problem solving, audits, quality-system compliance, and technical documentation. The role collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and operations to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO, and medical-device quality requirements.

Lead architecture and development of embedded networking software for surgical robotic systems. Own multi-year technical direction across the network stack, including reliability, low-latency switching, traffic shaping, messaging, session management, Ethernet drivers, and real-time safety-critical paths. Mentor engineers, lead reviews, resolve complex hardware-software failures, guide technology selections, and collaborate across engineering, clinical, and manufacturing teams.

Develops software, algorithms, and infrastructure for automated electro-mechanical equipment used to manufacture and test robotic surgical systems and medical devices. Responsibilities include hardware integration, manufacturing process optimization, validation activities, production software support, software architecture, diagnostic strategy, cross-functional project leadership, and mentoring engineers. The role requires strong software design, system-level thinking, analytical problem-solving, and technical leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.
