Conduct AI research for surgical robotics using multimodal surgical data, Visual-Language-Action models, computer vision, language models, and robot learning. Develop algorithms for surgical scene understanding, procedure recognition, and imitation learning; process large datasets; validate models in simulation and on robotic systems; collaborate with engineers and clinicians; and document research for technical reports, patents, or conferences.

Designs, implements, and operates Bazel-based build infrastructure for large-scale C/C++ embedded software. The role focuses on remote caching and execution, cross-compilation, build performance, deterministic and reproducible builds, CI reliability, developer tooling, observability, and cloud/on-premises infrastructure. The engineer debugs production build failures, partners with firmware and platform teams, mentors engineers, and provides technical leadership for scalable build systems.

Lead development, validation, and improvement of manufacturing processes for precision flexible needles, catheters, and surgical accessory assemblies. Develop joining, forming, assembly, inspection, and testing methods; conduct statistical analysis; manage pFMEAs and root-cause investigations; improve yield, reliability, and cycle time; support NPI ramp and production scale-up; collaborate with design, quality, suppliers, automation, and clinical teams; and train manufacturing personnel.
