Leads company-wide security, privacy, and compliance strategy for AI products and cloud infrastructure. Builds security programs, manages risk and incident response, oversees GLBA, FFIEC, and SOC 2 compliance, embeds secure architecture and DevSecOps practices, governs AI security and privacy, reports risk to executives and the board, and builds a high-performing security engineering team.

Own platform reliability, security, and operations for a regulated AI platform. Define SLOs and error budgets, build multi-region disaster recovery, manage AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure through GitOps and infrastructure-as-code, improve observability and incident response, and establish secure software delivery practices. The role also owns SOC 2 and regulatory infrastructure evidence, AI-specific security guardrails, supply-chain controls, and automation enabling a small senior engineering team to operate confidently.

Own outcomes, roadmap sequencing, technical tradeoffs, and execution for a defined product subdomain or initiative. Partner closely with engineering, mentor junior PMs, use AI daily to accelerate product work, and operate effectively in a startup environment with moderate ambiguity. The role is onsite in San Francisco and values experience shipping real products, fintech or financial services expertise, conversational or agentic AI experience, and 0-to-1 product development.
