The role collaborates closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Compliance, Customer Services, and Growth teams.

Design, build, support, and architect scalable, highly available distributed applications across web, mobile, trading, content, and internal platforms. The role contributes to solution design, cloud delivery, CI/CD, testing, security, risk management, technical innovation, knowledge transfer, and full lifecycle change delivery using Java, AWS, microservices, event-driven architecture, and containers.

Provides technical expertise on SIPP pensions, including drawdown and transfers. Interprets pension legislation and regulations, assesses business impacts, liaises with HMRC and FCA-related stakeholders, oversees operational controls, supports product development, and communicates regulatory changes across the business. The role also coaches trainee specialists, improves processes, and maintains knowledge of pension rules, tax, reporting, and financial-services requirements.
