The Insurance Reimbursement Specialist analyzes healthcare claims to identify duplicate payments, contacts providers for refunds, and ensures accurate financial recoveries.

Provide administrative and People Operations support including office management, onboarding and offboarding coordination, employee records and HRIS updates, recruiting logistics, event planning, vendor coordination, invoice/expense support, and general administrative duties to ensure a welcoming, compliant, and efficient workplace.

Lead design, operation, and cost-managed administration of Azure cloud infrastructure and corporate IT. Manage endpoints, identity, MSP/vendor SLAs, AI tooling/token budgets, Zero Trust security, compliance (SOC 2/StateRAMP/FedRAMP/ISO27001), data and AI governance, IaC automation, backup/DR, and reporting to leadership.

Lead Agile delivery as a hands-on Scrum Master and Jira administrator across distributed teams. Configure and govern Atlassian (Jira/Confluence/JSM), apply Scrum and Kanban (flow metrics, WIP limits), embed AI tools to improve planning and reporting, build delivery metrics and dashboards, manage program scope/release planning, mitigate risks and dependencies, and coach teams on Agile best practices — with attention to healthcare compliance (HIPAA/PHI) where applicable.

Negotiate settlements directly with plaintiff and defense counsel, develop and execute settlement and lien resolution strategies, manage attorney-involved recovery portfolios, evaluate recovery potential, finalize settlements and closures, and partner with attorneys on legal analysis to maximize recoveries for large health plans.

The Legal Assistant manages day-to-day tasks for insurance recovery cases, ensuring organized documentation and communication with various stakeholders.

Manage administrative tasks for health plan subrogation and third-party liability recovery: handle inbound inquiries, coordinate with carriers and attorneys, maintain case documentation and status, prepare materials for paralegals/attorneys, track payments, and support pod responsiveness and client experience.

Design, build, and optimize scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines in a medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture on Microsoft Fabric/OneLake. Ensure HIPAA-compliant, multi-tenant data isolation, data quality monitoring, lineage and governance. Partner with Data Science, ML Engineering, and Software Engineering to deliver feature stores, ML-ready datasets, and production-grade data delivery for analytics and scoring.

Lead a team of ~40 Legal Assistants and administrative staff via 4-5 Team Leads, driving workforce planning, productivity, quality, training, SOPs, process improvement, and performance management to ensure attorneys receive timely, accurate support and operational excellence.
