Provides legal and paralegal support to federal government attorneys in military justice and Office of Military Commissions matters. Duties include legal and factual research, drafting legal documents, preparing for hearings and trials, coordinating witnesses and proceedings, investigating claims, court reporting, and transcription. The role is fully onsite in Alexandria, Virginia, requires military or JAG courtroom experience, a TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and travel to Guantanamo Bay for court proceedings.

Supports FEMA attorneys throughout the case lifecycle by conducting factual and legal research, reviewing and building case files, drafting legal documents and correspondence, coordinating hearings and interviews, preparing for litigation, docketing appeals, and providing administrative and investigative support. The role requires onsite work in Washington, DC, a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of relevant paralegal experience, proficiency with legal technology and Microsoft Office, and eligibility for Public Trust clearance.

Drafts Final Agency Decisions for USDA federal-sector EEO and civil rights complaints. Reviews investigation reports for legal sufficiency, processes formal and informal complaints, handles post-closure compliance and appeals, and prepares complex legal documents. Conducts legal research, reviews case law and facts, and edits legal materials. Requires a JD, state bar admission, extensive federal EEO experience, and at least three years writing federal-level Final Agency Decisions.

Serves as a federal procurement and contracts subject matter expert, reviewing procurement actions, PWS requirements, clauses, deliverables, and contract files. Advises government, legal, contracting, and program stakeholders on contract formation, administration, modifications, claims, disputes, compliance, investigations, and bid protests. Identifies risk, recommends corrective actions, and prepares audit-ready reports, briefings, procedures, trackers, and contract documentation.

Provide legal case file review, conduct fact-finding and legal research, draft legal opinions and decisions, summarize claims and evidence, develop statistics and visuals to support litigation, and identify relevant records within document systems.
