Analyzes financial and operational data, including budget performance, system availability, employee performance, incidents, equipment failures, invoices, and maintenance activities. Prepares budgets and recurring management reports, explains variances, identifies efficiency opportunities, tracks design and MOC progress, and supports special projects. Presents large datasets as useful management information for corporate and field leadership.

Supports turnaround cost control across planning, execution, and post-turnaround phases. Reviews vendor quotes, manages purchase order and staffing records, tracks labor, equipment, materials, and per diem costs, reconciles vendor charges, monitors forecasts and burn rates, validates invoices and financial data, and closes purchase orders. The role also supports cost meetings, vendor relationships, process improvements, and ad hoc requests.

Mechanical Planners scope and plan jobs across various disciplines, develop detailed job plans, and manage material ordering and scheduling using SAP and Primavera P6.
