Support payroll processing and related accounting tasks: review timekeeping, maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, assist reconciliations and journal entries, ensure compliance with wage/tax rules, support year-end activities, and provide backup for accounting and administrative functions.

Manage and develop an agronomy sales team across multiple Iowa locations. Recruit, coach, and hold salespeople accountable; set sales and marketing strategies; coordinate with operations; manage pricing, profitability, reporting, budgets, and customer growth; ensure training, compliance, and effective communication to maximize revenue and grow the customer base.

Operate and maintain plant and material-handling equipment; load ETOH and DDGS rail cars and trucks; move and spot rail cars; perform ground maintenance, facility cleaning and inspections; assist during shutdowns and outages; complete FRA training for conductor/engineer license; follow safety programs, policies and PPE requirements; perform other support duties as assigned.

Perform daily on-site location operations including equipment and facility maintenance, repairs, shop and warehouse upkeep, assist with distribution of farm supplies and grain, follow safety procedures, and support location manager with assigned duties.

Sell crop protection, seed, plant food, and agronomy services to increase sales, margins, and market share within an assigned territory. Advise producers on crop production plans, coordinate inventories and precision-ag activities, report customer and competitor activity, support invoicing and collections, and maintain customer databases and required licenses.

Lead and manage all location operations: hire and train staff, grow grain and supply sales, manage inventories, dispatch trucks, manufacture feed, oversee agronomy (NH3) operations, maintain facilities and safety compliance (IDALS, OSHA, FSMA), control expenses and A/R, and support customer service and billing as needed.

Lead and manage daily operations of an agricultural retail location: recruit and train staff, grow grain and supply sales, manage inventory, assets, safety, finances, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and customer service to meet location volume and profitability goals.

Perform accounts payable processing, maintain vendor master and inventory item files, reconcile supplier statements and GL accounts, prepare tax and management reports, support inventory receiving and discrepancy resolution, and handle general finance department tasks and continuous improvement.

Lead IT strategy and operations for an agricultural cooperative, oversee ERP implementation and post-go-live optimization, manage infrastructure, security, data/reporting, automation, vendor relationships, and mentor IT staff to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology services.

Provide high-level administrative support to the VP of Agronomy, manage sales/contract/pricing reports, coordinate seed and chemical logistics, maintain ERP and pricing spreadsheets, gather and analyze information from sales/operations, set up meetings, and act as a knowledge resource to improve agronomy department processes.

Provide administrative support to the VP of Energy: manage billing and Cardtrol cards, reconcile payments, maintain contracts and compliance documentation, manage LP monitors and Tank Master data, produce driver reports, keep driver files current, answer phones, match bills of lading to invoices, and perform other clerical duties.
