Leads the growth and efficient operation of an agricultural location, including hiring and training personnel, managing grain and supply sales, inventory, budgets, facilities, maintenance, quality control, regulatory requirements, customer service, and safety. The role oversees agricultural retail operations involving grain, agronomy, feed, and energy while maintaining assets, controlling expenses, and meeting location performance goals.

Provide daily support for agricultural location operations by safely operating and maintaining equipment and facilities. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance, assist with farm supply and grain distribution, monitor tools and inventories, maintain shop and warehouse cleanliness, follow safety procedures, and support customers and location management. The role requires mechanical aptitude, physical ability to handle 50-pound loads, and possession or willingness to obtain a Class A CDL.

Summer interns gain hands-on experience in grain marketing and agricultural business operations. Responsibilities include analyzing commodity markets, weather, and industry trends; supporting grain marketing strategies; managing customer data and communications; learning grain contracts, risk management, and hedging; participating in industry events; preparing reports; and assisting sales and marketing activities. The role involves outdoor agricultural conditions and may require personal protective equipment.
