Maintains and repairs vessel engines, generators, and onboard systems; oversees engine-room housekeeping, fuel transfers, logs, safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and vessel maintenance. Supervises junior engineers and deckhands, participates in drills and audits, responds to safety concerns, and supports safe vessel and tow operations while working extended 14-, 21-, or 28-day hitches.

Supports accurate and timely accounting under U.S. GAAP, focusing on month-end close, terminal revenue accruals, general ledger reconciliations, operational reporting, payment and accounts payable coordination, audit documentation, budgeting assistance, discrepancy research, and process improvement. Prepares tonnage, throughput, royalty, KPI, financial, and operational reports while responding to finance and operations requests.
