Perform shore-based tanker and fueling operations on the river, including fuel/lube transfers, vessel and barge inspection and maintenance, navigation assistance, equipment operation support, inventory and paperwork management, and strict adherence to USCG and company safety procedures.

The Chief Engineer will manage maintenance and repairs of marine vessels, ensuring safety and timely completion of engineering projects, while leading and training junior engineers.

Perform deckhand duties including tow building, rigging, barge checks, housekeeping, painting, confined-space work, assisting engineer, safety drills, and extended hitches away from home.
