Supports network operations for more than 20,000 users by troubleshooting Layer 1–3 outages, installing and configuring routers, switches, wireless controllers, COMSEC/TACLANES, intrusion prevention systems, and WAN accelerators. The role manages maintenance activities, resolves and documents incidents, performs LAN/WAN recovery, and provides onsite and remote technical support. It requires Cisco networking expertise, network protocols knowledge, COMSEC experience, Security+ and CCNA certifications, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Provides onsite and remote troubleshooting for Layer 1–3 network issues supporting more than 20,000 users. Installs, upgrades, configures, and maintains routers, switches, wireless controllers, IPS systems, VPNs, WAN accelerators, COMSEC/TACLANE devices, and monitoring tools. Handles outage recovery, maintenance tickets, incident documentation, escalation, and network-device reconfiguration while following operational policies and procedures.

Supports a large DoD network serving more than 20,000 users. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Layer 1–3 outages, installing and upgrading routers, switches, wireless controllers, IPS devices, VPN equipment, WAN accelerators, and COMSEC/TACLANEs. The engineer configures network devices, coordinates maintenance activities, resolves and documents incidents, performs outage recovery, and follows operational procedures. The role requires a Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, Security+ CE, relevant network experience, and willingness to travel and perform physical duties.
