Duties include patrolling buildings and grounds, investigating incidents, responding to emergencies, enforcing campus regulations, assisting with fire and alarm system testing, directing traffic, providing event security, and coordinating with police, fire, and emergency services.

Provides case management, benefits assistance, and referrals to internal, external, and community resources for college students. Supports basic-needs programs, homeless students, food pantry and clothing closet operations, childcare vouchers, and culturally specific services. The Grants Writer researches funding opportunities and develops, writes, budgets, coordinates, and submits competitive grant proposals for federal, state, and private sponsors. The role collaborates with college leaders and community partners, interprets sponsor requirements, develops logic models and performance measures, integrates research and data storytelling, tracks submissions, and supports post-award reporting and grant management.

Coordinates and expands dual credit programs across partner high schools and Illinois Central College. Supports faculty credentialing, professional development, compliance, grant implementation, outreach, and equitable student access. Maintains program records, monitors grant objectives and performance indicators, facilitates training events, and collaborates with academic, enrollment, and school district stakeholders to strengthen pathways to college enrollment, completion, transfer, and careers.
