Manages enterprise financial planning, annual and multiyear budgeting, forecasting, clinical trial financial reporting, accruals, close activities, variance analysis, and performance communications. Partners with Clinical Operations, program teams, CROs, functional leaders, and executives to support decision-making. Maintains SOX documentation, develops financial models, identifies trends and risks, and supports the company’s FP&A systems and ad hoc finance initiatives.

Manages enterprise and clinical trial budgeting, forecasting, financial close, accruals, variance analysis, and performance reporting. Partners with Clinical Operations, program management, CROs, functional leaders, senior management, and the Board. Maintains FP&A systems and SOX documentation, provides financial modeling and decision support, and identifies trends, risks, and opportunities. The role is onsite four days weekly in South San Francisco with no travel required.

Leads IDEAYA’s integrated investor relations and corporate communications function, advising the CEO, CFO, executive team, and Board. Responsibilities include investor engagement, earnings materials, corporate narrative, executive messaging, media relations, internal communications, reputation and crisis communications, disclosure compliance, and milestone communications. The executive will build the function from the ground up, hire and develop a team, manage external partners, and support the company’s transition from clinical-stage to commercial-stage biotechnology operations.
