Manages the company’s privacy and corporate compliance programs, including privacy and cybersecurity compliance, incident response, regulatory monitoring, risk assessments, policy management, training, metrics, and executive reporting. Provides administrative support to the Claims department by handling customer calls and inquiries, claim notices, vendor W9 forms, medical bill reviews, payments, email requests, and claim information. Supports branch office operations through reception, mail and package management, supply ordering, conference room setup, and maintenance of office equipment. Uses Microsoft Office and multiple databases while maintaining accurate data entry and timely communication.

Owns product vision, strategy, roadmap, backlog prioritization, and delivery for specialty insurance products. Partners with business stakeholders, technical teams, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and leadership to maximize product value. Leads Agile ceremonies, manages product plans, evaluates iteration outcomes, maintains user personas and journey maps, analyzes market and user needs, and drives user-centric outcomes. Requires extensive product ownership experience, technical team leadership, and strong insurance, analytical, and communication skills.

Leads the IT Strategy and Transformation Office, integrating enterprise architecture, portfolio investment planning, agile delivery, organizational change management, and executive governance. The role aligns technology investments with enterprise strategy, oversees architecture standards and modernization, manages portfolio value realization, establishes delivery and governance practices, sponsors organizational change, and leads multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include budget and vendor management, executive communication, hiring, performance management, and advising on complex transformation initiatives.

Requires deep P&C claims expertise, multiple Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations, Guidewire Cloud experience, data migration and integration knowledge, and strong product ownership experience.

Supports corporate tax compliance, reporting, planning, and accounting operations. Prepares and reviews tax returns, provisions, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports; researches tax regulations; coordinates outsourced tax work, audits, and regulatory examinations; resolves discrepancies; and leads tax-related process improvements and projects. Designs, deploys, and operates scalable machine learning infrastructure and pipelines on AWS. Builds Python-based automation, model deployment frameworks, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure-as-code solutions. Monitors reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency of production ML systems while troubleshooting complex issues. Collaborates with data scientists and engineering teams, contributes to architectural standards, conducts code reviews, and mentors junior engineers.

Performs complex actuarial analyses across pricing, reserving, analytics, and systems integration for commercial insurance lines. Leads technology product strategy and delivery for the Specialty Business Unit, overseeing insurance platforms across policy administration, underwriting, billing, claims, portals, and distribution. Manages product roadmaps, vendor governance, cross-functional delivery, and a team of technical product managers. Partners with executives and business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, ensure customer value, and align products with enterprise goals. Oversees hiring, performance management, coaching, and team development.

Processes accurate premium billings, including interim, final, revised, and manually calculated audit billings. Responds to customer and department emails, handles agent and policyholder calls, researches policy and payment information, assists with payroll reporting, and processes payments, cancellations, and reinstatements. Performs administrative tasks and accurate data entry across multiple applications while providing customer service and maintaining policy records.

Manages moderately complex California workers’ compensation claims from investigation through resolution. Communicates with policyholders, agents, attorneys, witnesses, and experts; determines exposure; administers benefits; sets and adjusts reserves; monitors litigation and legal costs; prepares claim status reports; ensures regulatory and company-policy compliance; and uses negotiation, mediation, denial, and litigation strategies to resolve claims fairly. The role also supports process improvement, data accuracy, knowledge sharing, and ongoing training.

Conducts workers’ compensation, commercial property, and liability risk assessments for insurance accounts. Performs property surveys and accident investigations, develops corrective action plans, prepares service proposals and reports, and advises underwriting and claims teams. Delivers client training on OSHA, NFPA, CPSC, and liability prevention topics while consulting on risk exposures, financial data, and mitigation strategies. This field-based role requires travel throughout North and South Carolina, site visits, driving, climbing, and periodic overnight travel.

Handles complex workers’ compensation claims, including investigation, exposure assessment, reserving, benefit administration, litigation management, settlement negotiation, and strategic resolution.
