Lead end-to-end external aerodynamics CFD activities: geometry prep, meshing, solver setup, and post-processing in STAR-CCM+. Build automated simulation workflows (Java, Python), run CFD at scale on AWS, design aerodynamic geometry in CATIA, communicate trade-offs to airframe and GNC, and collaborate with structures and GNC teams.

Drive end-to-end operational projects, improve cross-functional processes, build data capture and reporting, and lead high-priority special projects. Provide structured analysis for strategic decisions, operate deeply in business systems (ERP/HRIS), and project-manage stakeholders across Finance, Recruiting, People Ops, Business Development, and leadership to implement solutions in a fast-paced aerospace startup.

Design, build, test, and fly lightweight, high-reliability structures and mechanical subsystems for stratospheric aircraft. Own subsystems from concept through flight, perform sizing and trade studies, iterate hardware rapidly, support integration/production/flight operations, and collaborate with avionics, GNC, power, RF, and software teams.

Deploy, configure, and operate solar-powered aircraft and ground systems at test ranges and remote sites. Plan, oversee, and analyze flight test campaigns: design test cards and criteria, define instrumentation and telemetry, execute and monitor tests, adjust parameters in flight, build data pipelines, analyze telemetry for performance and anomalies, write test reports, and improve test processes. Travel to remote test sites and work in challenging field conditions.

Operate and engineer high-altitude solar UAS: set up sites and aircraft, run preflight and launch/recovery, monitor telemetry and respond to anomalies, tune autopilot and GCS, analyze flight logs, write test plans and procedures, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/software issues, and build tooling/scripts to improve field operations.

End-to-end ownership of flight subsystems: design, build, test, integrate, and flight-validate hardware and software across mechanical, aerodynamics, RF, GNC, electrical, avionics, power electronics, and energy storage. Work in a small, high-trust team, iterate rapidly, troubleshoot in the field, and execute flight tests.
