Design, build, test, and fly lightweight, high-reliability structures and mechanical subsystems for stratospheric aircraft. Own subsystems from concept through flight, perform sizing and trade studies, iterate hardware rapidly, support integration/production/flight operations, and collaborate with avionics, GNC, power, RF, and software teams.

Design, implement, and flight-test end-to-end GNC systems for long-endurance stratospheric aircraft. Own modeling, simulation, state estimation, control law design, tuning, validation, HIL testing, and field integration with avionics, sensors, propulsion, and autonomy. Support production bring-up and desert flight operations.

Deploy, configure, and operate solar-powered aircraft and ground systems at test ranges and remote sites. Provide end-to-end field support, troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues in real time, execute flight tests, train operators, capture flight data and feedback, and update documentation and runbooks while collaborating with mechanical, GNC, RF, and software teams.

Design, build, integrate, and validate RF and communications systems for long-endurance stratospheric aircraft. Own RF subsystems end-to-end including link budgets, antenna selection, RF front ends, EMI/EMC mitigation, and field debugging using RF test equipment. Collaborate with avionics, GNC, electrical, mechanical, and software teams and support integration, production bring-up, and flight operations.

Lead manufacturing and production of flight hardware from prototype to scaled production. Design and improve build processes, tooling, work instructions, and quality checks. Partner with design engineers, drive root-cause analysis, support integration, testing, and flight operations, and help establish production capabilities in El Segundo.

Plan, oversee, and analyze flight test campaigns: design test cards and criteria, define instrumentation and telemetry, execute and monitor tests, adjust parameters in flight, build data pipelines, analyze telemetry for performance and anomalies, write test reports, and improve test processes. Travel to remote test sites and work in challenging field conditions.

Operate and engineer high-altitude solar UAS: set up sites and aircraft, run preflight and launch/recovery, monitor telemetry and respond to anomalies, tune autopilot and GCS, analyze flight logs, write test plans and procedures, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/software issues, and build tooling/scripts to improve field operations.

End-to-end ownership of flight subsystems: design, build, test, integrate, and flight-validate hardware and software across mechanical, aerodynamics, RF, GNC, electrical, avionics, power electronics, and energy storage. Work in a small, high-trust team, iterate rapidly, troubleshoot in the field, and execute flight tests.

Manage daily shipping and receiving, inventory transactions, and regulated (dangerous goods) shipments. Coordinate local deliveries, vendor/PO workflows, and warehouse organization. Support deployments, facilities, and general operations across the factory.
