Design, deploy, and maintain networks for factory and field-deployed aerospace systems, including routers, switches, VPNs, firewalls, segmentation, satellite, radio, and IP networks. Own IATT and ATO processes, STIG reviews, ACAS/Nessus scans, remediation, government compliance coordination, security documentation, and approved CI/CD pipelines. Apply AI daily to network analysis, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management while building the network engineering function from the ground up.

Design, build, integrate, and validate RF and communications systems for long-endurance stratospheric aircraft. Own subsystems end-to-end, integrate sensors and peripherals, develop drivers and middleware, build telemetry/logging/health monitoring, create test harnesses and HIL integration, debug with lab tools, and support integration, production bring-up, and flight operations in the field.

Design, build, test, and iterate lightweight, high-reliability structures and mechanical subsystems for solar-powered stratospheric aircraft. Own subsystems from concept through flight, perform sizing and trade studies, support integration, production, and flight operations, and work hands-on in factory and field alongside avionics, GNC, power, RF, and software teams.

Plan, oversee, and analyze flight test campaigns: design test cards and criteria, define instrumentation and telemetry, execute and monitor tests, adjust parameters in flight, build data pipelines, analyze telemetry for performance and anomalies, write test reports, and improve test processes. Travel to remote test sites and work in challenging field conditions.

Set up test sites and ground control systems, prepare and preflight unmanned aircraft, operate flights from the ground control station, monitor telemetry, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/software issues, run launch and recovery, refurbish aircraft between sorties, capture flight logs, and improve repeatable, safe flight operations in remote field environments.

Build and own end-to-end full-stack systems for flight operations and autonomy. Develop backend services for telemetry, command-and-control, data ingestion, and analytics. Create frontends for ground control and operator workflows. Design APIs and data pipelines, integrate with embedded and avionics teams, support flight tests and field ops, and drive systems from concept to production.

Design, develop, and iterate high-reliability avionics and electrical subsystems for solar-powered stratospheric aircraft. Own hardware from concept through flight, support integration, production, field debugging, and collaborate with mechanical, GNC, RF, and software teams.

Operate and engineer high-altitude solar UAS: set up sites and aircraft, run preflight and launch/recovery, monitor telemetry and respond to anomalies, tune autopilot and GCS, analyze flight logs, write test plans and procedures, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/software issues, and build tooling/scripts to improve field operations.

Deploy, configure, and maintain solar-powered aircraft and ground systems in the field. Provide end-to-end setup, troubleshooting, flight test campaign ownership, operator training, data capture, and feedback to engineering. Build forward-deployed procedures and runbooks while working across mechanical, GNC, RF, and software teams.

End-to-end ownership of flight subsystems: design, build, test, integrate, and flight-validate hardware and software across mechanical, aerodynamics, RF, GNC, electrical, avionics, power electronics, and energy storage. Work in a small, high-trust team, iterate rapidly, troubleshoot in the field, and execute flight tests.

Design, build, and improve bench and system-level test setups for aircraft hardware (avionics, power, sensors). Perform incoming inspection, bring-up, troubleshooting, environmental/qualification testing, develop HIL and automated tests, capture/analyze data, document results, and support integration, production bring-up, and flight test in the field.

Lead and build Icarus's end-to-end supply chain for aerospace flight hardware: sourcing, procurement, supplier management, inventory, materials planning, logistics, and compliance. Define strategy, stand up systems (ERP/MRP, KPIs, receiving/inspection), mitigate long-lead and single-source risks, negotiate terms, and scale supply from prototype to high-rate production while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and the CEO.
