Entry-level rotational mechanical engineering role for graduating students. Responsibilities include designing and sustaining mechanical subsystems for plasma and waterjet cutting systems, supporting manufacturing and suppliers, executing design changes, performing verification and validation testing, analyzing technical data, and improving products and engineering processes. The role rotates between New Hampshire and Washington before permanent placement and requires collaboration across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams.

Supports Technical Service Engineers with troubleshooting customer cases involving plasma, waterjet, CNC, and related cutting systems. Develop and sustain mechanical subsystems for industrial plasma and waterjet cutting equipment. Responsibilities include creating 3D models and production drawings, evaluating materials and components, leading cost-reduction and product-improvement projects, conducting engineering analysis and prototype testing, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting verification, validation, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and supplier activities.

Develop and sustain electrical subsystems for plasma and water jet cutting systems, CNC equipment, and torch height controls. Implement product changes, manage component obsolescence, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead cost-saving or improvement initiatives. Perform design verification, validation, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis while collaborating with procurement, manufacturing, quality, technicians, and engineering teams.

Software Engineering Interns will develop an EtherCAT Power Supply Emulator supporting automated testing initiatives. They will build software with a high-level programming language, collaborate with teammates, document and test iterative work, and explore data visualization and analysis. The internship is onsite in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, and includes development opportunities and cohort activities.

The intern will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams while applying structured problem-solving methods.

Lead product strategy, NPI, and full lifecycle management for a segment of the OMAX waterjet portfolio. Own product roadmaps, business cases, VOC-driven requirements, cross-functional NPI execution, pricing, launch, portfolio optimization, and in-market performance. Partner with engineering, commercial teams, channel partners, and leadership to drive profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
