Supports global learning strategy, program planning, trainer onboarding, and continuous improvement for customers, partners, and associates.

Electrical Engineering Interns support design improvements, product testing, validation, root cause analysis, engineering change control, documentation, and new product development for plasma and waterjet cutting systems. They collaborate with design, manufacturing, procurement, quality, regulatory, reliability, and supply chain teams while gaining hands-on product lifecycle and manufacturing experience.

Leads warehouse and aftermarket fulfillment process improvements, including workflow analysis, layout and storage design, equipment selection, KPI development, and Lean Six Sigma problem solving. Uses SQL, Power BI, and other analytical tools to improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, capacity, safety, and order fulfillment. Manages projects from concept through implementation while coordinating budgets, schedules, stakeholders, risks, documentation, and technical solutions with warehouse and production teams.

Leads the PCB Test Engineering organization, overseeing ICT, functional test, fixture development, IC programming, and automated test solutions. Defines test strategy, improves design for testability, manufacturing quality, yield, and cost, and delivers scalable solutions for internal and contract manufacturing. Develops organizational roadmaps, capacity plans, and engineering talent while partnering with design, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and supply chain teams. The role is onsite in Lebanon, New Hampshire, with up to 10% travel.

Develop embedded firmware and software tools for plasma cutting systems. Responsibilities include requirements, design, coding, debugging, testing, integration, device drivers, RTOS real-time control, hardware/software integration, industrial communications, and system optimization. The role also evaluates tools and processes, supports validation, and collaborates with cross-functional design teams.

Supports Technical Service Engineers with troubleshooting customer cases involving plasma, waterjet, CNC, and related cutting systems. Responsibilities include researching service history, reviewing technical documentation, applying structured problem-solving methods, creating service resources, communicating technical information, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Training, Sales, and Manufacturing teams. The intern will also gain exposure to safety and service compliance and travel onsite with engineers to service Hypertherm equipment.

Plans material requirements, production work orders, replenishment methods, and inventory levels for a manufacturing business unit. Coordinates with procurement, production, warehouse, planning, and customer service teams; resolves shortages, expedites materials, updates ERP data, and performs root-cause analysis. Uses lean planning, Kanban, and supply chain analysis to optimize inventory while meeting production demand, lead times, and service levels.

Manage sourcing for fabricated/formed/machined metal and non-metal categories: develop category strategy, qualify and manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, drive cost savings, support NPI, maintain risk assessments, and lead procurement projects and supplier performance reviews.

Leads continuous improvement across high-mix, low-volume CNC machining operations. The role develops stable, efficient manufacturing processes; improves quality, productivity, and OEE; manages capital equipment and tooling projects; designs fixtures and workstations; supports new product introduction; applies Lean, Six Sigma, GD&T, FMEA, DFMA, and statistical process analysis; and mentors engineers, technicians, and production teams.

Design and deploy automation solutions, lead development of electric controls for test systems, mentor junior engineers, and improve operational efficiency.

Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Process Engineers to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance. Design and optimize processes, tooling, fixtures, and workstations; lead pFMEA, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and DFMA feedback for NPI. Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods, evaluate and implement manufacturing equipment/technologies, create technology roadmaps, and manage cross-functional projects, budgets, and schedules while mentoring engineers and partnering with Quality to drive continuous improvement.

Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects across the organization, coach teams on improvement tools, and facilitate workshops for continuous improvement.
