Directs live newscasts, coordinates production crews, manages broadcast pacing and segment sequencing, and handles unexpected changes during live programming. Designs newscast graphics, edits and encodes promotional content, maintains studio lighting, and ensures broadcasts run smoothly. Requires knowledge of television transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operational systems, along with flexibility, clear communication, leadership, and multitasking skills.
