Performs all steward duties in a resort-style hotel, supporting on-site dining operations and maintaining an engaging environment focused on exceptional guest experiences and leisure operations.

Supervises hotel engineering and maintenance staff, assigns and inspects work orders, performs preventive maintenance and repairs, responds to guest and public-area requests, conducts property inspections, manages maintenance records and inventory, coordinates vendors, and supports OSHA, fire, and life-safety compliance. The role also provides technical guidance and trains engineering team members while helping keep facilities safe, clean, and operational.

Supervises daily restaurant, bar, and banquet operations; supports and trains staff; monitors service quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and service flow. Assists with scheduling, shift coverage, inventory, ordering, opening and closing procedures, and guest issue resolution. Ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and alcohol-service standards while coordinating front-of-house team members in a flexible, fast-paced hospitality environment.

Oversee the property's accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and team leadership. Partner with the general manager, operations, ownership, and corporate teams to maintain financial integrity and improve performance. Supervise accounting managers, accountants, and clerks while ensuring adherence to GAAP, company policies, brand standards, and applicable laws.

Prepares journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, financial statements, and month-end and year-end close activities. Reviews invoices and expense coding, reconciles bank and intercompany accounts, supports consolidated financial analysis across entities, assists with audits, maintains compliant accounting records, and recommends process improvements. The role reports to the Corporate Director of Centralized Accounting and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Supports hotel housekeeping by maintaining clean hallways, elevators, public areas, restrooms, lobby spaces, and back-of-house areas. Removes trash and soiled linens, restocks linen closets, delivers supplies to room attendants, operates housekeeping equipment, and assists with moving furniture or guest items. Responds courteously to requests, follows sanitation and safety policies, and performs additional assigned duties.

Coordinates group business from booking through event completion, manages room blocks, contracts, banquet event orders, billing, deadlines, and client communications. Drives local meeting-space sales, develops corporate accounts, supports transient RFPs, conducts site visits and pre-con meetings, coordinates hotel operations, upsells services, forecasts food and beverage revenue, and works to maximize revenue and repeat business.

Lead revenue strategy for a 2-4 hotel portfolio, optimizing group and transient mix, pricing, forecasting, and distribution. Monitor STR reports and RevMax touchpoints, conduct displacement analysis, support annual operating plans and monthly forecasts, collaborate with Sales and Marketing, train teams, and maintain relationships with brand partners and ownership.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house. Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues, complete work orders and PM tasks, support events and projects, maintain shop organization, and ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

Perform housekeeping support and public area maintenance, assist with laundry and stocking supplies, interact warmly with guests, report hazards and lost-and-found items, and collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel.

Perform dishroom and kitchen cleaning tasks: wash, sort, polish, store cookware and service ware, maintain dish machine, manage trash/recycling, enforce sanitation and safety, support kitchen operations and supply organization. Flexible hours including weekends and some PM shifts.
