Support and secure federal, state, and county assessments by preparing and inventorying test materials, maintaining student testing records, assisting with accommodations and irregularities, coordinating with IT for device/platform functionality, training and supporting proctors, and performing confidential clerical and data-entry tasks to ensure compliant testing operations.

Lead and coordinate the countywide Scholars Leadership Honors Program across 13 high schools. Provide advisor support, mentor student leadership teams, run professional learning for advisors, plan events and family engagement, collect and analyze scholar academic data, manage recruitment and evaluations, and collaborate with community partners and Delta Sigma Theta to support scholar academic, social-emotional, college and career readiness.

Cabinet-level leader directing equity and innovation across the district. Designs and implements equity-focused policies, programs, and professional learning; sets metrics and accountability; strengthens community and student engagement; reviews policies for compliance; and leads systemwide change to eliminate opportunity gaps and foster belonging.

Provide executive leadership for systemwide human capital strategy, HR operations, labor relations, and legal compliance. Lead recruitment, retention, total rewards, workforce planning, HRIS/data-driven decision-making, performance management, and collaborate with Superintendent, Board, General Counsel, and stakeholders to support a diverse, high-performing PreK–12 workforce.

Use SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools to extract, transform, and validate data for state, federal, and internal reporting. Perform data quality assurance, troubleshoot root causes, build report queries and visualizations, support projects, and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders while ensuring student data confidentiality.

Provide instructional support, observations, and professional learning for elementary programs; design, develop, and evaluate curricula and assessments; support implementation, data analysis, and countywide initiatives to promote equitable access and high-quality instruction.

Provide legal representation for the school system in IDEA and Section 504 matters (mediations, resolution sessions, due process hearings); advise IEP teams and school staff; conduct legal research; draft settlements and policies; deliver professional development on special education compliance; handle related student administrative matters and perform other legal duties as assigned by General Counsel.

Lead development, supervision, and implementation of systemwide instructional technology and AI integration. Provide professional learning, manage instructional technology budget and programs, supervise technology teachers, oversee LMS content and accessibility, collaborate with stakeholders, evaluate digital tools, and represent the program to the school board and MSDE.
