The Staff Accountant supports revenue, cash, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and accounts payable coordination. The role also assists with audits, tax preparation, special projects, issue research, documentation, and cross-departmental financial support while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Manages concert operations for Houston Symphony performances, livestreams, tours, and runouts. Coordinates staging, equipment rentals, venue and vendor relationships, technical advances, rehearsal scheduling, transportation, crew payroll, budgets, contracts, and backstage operations. Collaborates with stage crews, musicians, artists, tour managers, and production personnel while ensuring IATSE compliance and high-quality performances. Requires strong project management, classical music knowledge, score-reading ability, diplomacy, flexibility, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Coordinates Houston Symphony education and community engagement programs, including school registrations, concert logistics, teacher resources, family concert activities, senior center performances, stakeholder communications, administrative support, budgets, board materials, and musician scheduling. Provides on-site event assistance and collaborates with internal departments, schools, community partners, facilitators, volunteers, and donors.
