HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) Benefits Overview

Leads total fund data science, AI-enabled analytics, semantic modeling, governed data products, and investment reporting capabilities. Designs analytical models, ETL/ELT pipelines, semantic metric layers, data marts, and LLM/RAG interfaces across enterprise platforms. Provides technical oversight, governance, quality controls, stakeholder influence, and strategic delivery across Finance, Investments, Technology, and Data. Coaches colleagues and advances responsible AI adoption, reporting automation, investment insight generation, and operational efficiency.

Build and operate secure, scalable agentic AI applications and workflows across Azure and AWS. Lead initiatives from discovery and architecture through production delivery, rollout, adoption, and operational handoff. Develop AI agents, APIs, integrations, RAG solutions, and reusable platform services; evaluate emerging technologies; establish governance, observability, and responsible AI practices; and coach teams on secure AI adoption. Partner with business, engineering, security, governance, and risk stakeholders to deliver measurable value.

Operate and support HOOPP’s Ortec Pearl P&L performance system, monitor data flows, troubleshoot jobs, validate data quality, and maintain reporting processes. Develop automated reports and data-quality solutions using Qlik, Python, Snowflake, Excel, Power BI, and SAP HANA. Analyze investment data, architectures, transformations, and methodologies while coordinating requirements, testing, reconciliation, UAT, and cross-functional technology projects.
