Regular production-floor presence, operational validation, and occasional additional hours during close, budgeting, forecasting, inventory, and audit periods are required.

Develop and grow sales across the Baltimore and Washington marketplace by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, promoting fresh protein products, and achieving revenue targets. The role manages customer relationships, conducts in-person visits and presentations, prepares forecasts and sales reports, monitors market trends, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Develops category strategies, pricing guidance, forecasts, supplier relationships, negotiations, product assortments, and inventory plans. Partners with Sales, Operations, Finance, Purchasing, vendors, and leadership while serving as the protein category subject-matter expert.

Responsibilities include supplier negotiations, pricing guidance, forecasting, market and margin analysis, inventory management, vendor performance, product assortment, promotions, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Purchasing. The role requires regular interaction with production and warehouse environments.

The Plant Controller partners with plant and finance leadership to ensure accurate inventory controls, standard costing, manufacturing variance analysis, plant reporting, and financial integrity. Responsibilities include reconciliations, cost maintenance, production-floor testing, month-end close support, budgeting, forecasting, root-cause analysis, and process improvement. The role requires regular collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, and Corporate Finance in a hands-on food manufacturing environment.

Oversee the accurate receipt of raw materials and supplies, including shipment inspection, carrier coordination, receiving documentation, warehouse placement, inventory monitoring, payment processing, and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with logistics partners and internal sales, inventory, and warehouse teams to prioritize inbound shipments, resolve issues, and improve receiving efficiency.
