Eighteen-month engineering development program focused on investment casting and manufacturing. The CAST Engineer rotates through process, product, metrology, quality, tooling, design, and business development assignments while executing engineering projects, analyzing technical data, improving manufacturing processes, documenting findings, and communicating recommendations across engineering and operations teams.

Performs process engineering for component manufacturing, including customer qualification documentation, corrective actions, equipment specifications, manufacturing technique improvements, engineering change reviews, process analysis, testing, and production data evaluation. Supports design compatibility, work simplification, time standards, technical reporting, and development of new or improved processes. Requires timely execution, communication, safety, and quality adherence.

Develops and improves metallurgical processes for product development and manufacturing. Manages metallography laboratory personnel and operations, provides technical support for casting, alloys, heat treatment, NDT, testing, and failure investigations, and serves as the material science subject-matter expert. Supports new product qualification, process transitions, customer and supplier technical discussions, cost reduction, manufacturing technology implementation, and continuous improvement while ensuring specifications and quality requirements are met.

Provides financial leadership for manufacturing plant operations, overseeing financial reporting, GAAP compliance, internal controls, cost accounting, inventory controls, forecasting, and performance analysis. Partners with plant and operational leaders to interpret results, identify variances, improve financial processes, and support business decisions. Requires manufacturing cost accounting expertise, ERP and advanced Excel proficiency, and at least five years of accounting or finance experience.

Leads strategic business development, market growth, customer relationships, commercial opportunity development, and competitive intelligence for engineered manufacturing markets. Evaluates technical feasibility, financial viability, risk, and strategic alignment of opportunities while developing profitable growth strategies. Requires extensive customer engagement, cross-functional influence, executive presentations, and frequent domestic and international travel between U.S., Mexico, and customer locations.

Performs process engineering for component manufacturing, including customer qualification documentation, corrective actions, equipment specification, manufacturing process improvement, engineering change review, production data analysis, and technical liaison work. Develops schematics, specifications, methods, and time standards while supporting new product and process development. May train less experienced technical personnel and must uphold safety, quality, and delivery commitments.
