Eighteen-month engineering development program focused on investment casting and manufacturing. The CAST Engineer rotates through process, product, metrology, quality, tooling, design, and business development assignments while executing engineering projects, analyzing technical data, improving manufacturing processes, documenting findings, and communicating recommendations across engineering and operations teams.

Performs process engineering for component manufacturing, including customer qualification documentation, corrective actions, equipment specifications, manufacturing technique improvements, engineering change reviews, process analysis, testing, and production data evaluation. Supports design compatibility, work simplification, time standards, technical reporting, and development of new or improved processes. Requires timely execution, communication, safety, and quality adherence.

Develops and improves metallurgical processes for product development and manufacturing. Manages metallography laboratory personnel and operations, provides technical support for casting, alloys, heat treatment, NDT, testing, and failure investigations, and serves as the material science subject-matter expert. Supports new product qualification, process transitions, customer and supplier technical discussions, cost reduction, manufacturing technology implementation, and continuous improvement while ensuring specifications and quality requirements are met.
